The joist replacement programme continues! These ones are on the first floor landing. By the time we're done, all the joists will have been renewed giving nice solid floors. The old joists have to go back in next to the new ones (heaven only knows why but it's something about keeping the history of the place even though no-one will see it once the new flooring goes down.
