Site visit

I go up to the house today with Jakki & Paddy who are in the UK en-route from South Africa to the US.  Paddy has some great ideas for the outside landscaping although I'm not sure the log store will become the store for the outside fridge etc (I know 20 steps is a long way from the sitting area to grab a cold beer from the kitchen, but we may have to make the effort).  But good to get ideas for the bar-b-q area and talk about opening up the old forge fire (if only to sit round it drinking champagne!!)

Poor Johnny has to give us access to the first floor - climbing ladders is all very exciting

Two ladies come out from the lighting design Co - sounds very grand, but I'm hoping they'll come up with some good ideas for the hayloft and kitchen.  They take loads of photos and hopefully will come up with some sketches soon
